Choosing the right training program for you and your dog can be challenging.
Many desire a board and train as they are not confident they have the time or ability to handle private lesson instruction. Possibly you just need a sanity break and board and train appeals to that.
Many desire private lessons because they acknowledge, as all should, that they need as much coaching as the dog needs training.
Many want group classes because they want the ability to have a dog that is obedient around other dogs and people. Possibly you feel your dog does well for the most part but struggles out in public when it sees other dogs, etc.
This elite program is the perfect hybrid of them all!
This program mixes all three teaching and training formats into one.
Your dog if selected into the program, they will come to live with the trainers for approximately a 4 week period. During this time trainers will build the foundation of the core skills of all basic obedience on leash. The dog will also be conditioned to the Ecollar over the final week of it's stay. This allows us, with our decades of experience, to get the essential teaching done in a very structured manner with us.
We do also offer a Platinum program where your dog stays with us for 5-6 weeks and we complete the training to include all of the ecollar phase. This may be a more attractive option for those that live a great distance from us.
At the conclusion of the 4 week stay, you will arrive for a scheduled going home lesson. During this lesson we will demonstrate the dogs progress. We will coach you on the proper handling of your dog through the leash in the commands that have been taught. There will be practical application under our coaching. Concluding this lesson, you will get to go home with your dog and will have daily training assignments to work on to build your proficiency in handling and establishing structure in the home. This is where you will need to pull up your sleeves a bit and get involved in transforming your dog.
Approximately one week later you will return to our facility for the first of four weekly group classes/private lessons. During this block of group classes/private lessons you will be taught how to now add the Ecollar into your handling of your dog. During these lessons we will add more distance, duration, and distraction to the commands that have been taught. These group sessions will be with other dogs that just completed the same board and train block that your dog did along with other students that will merge into this session. This provides an environment to begin really proofing your dog.
For those that do not live close enough to attend the group/private sessions, they will receive virtual coaching as part of the program.
